What is the EHS-Dashboard™?

The EHS-Dashboard™ by Higher Elevation Software is an all-in-one, cloud-based platform for managing Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. It centralizes environmental reporting, air permit tracking, incident reporting, regulatory compliance tracking, risk assessments, safety audits, corrective actions, and sustainability metrics in a single, easy-to-use system.

Who is Higher Elevation Software?

Higher Elevation Software, LLC, also known as HES, is an EHS software company offering the EHS-Dashboard™, in continuous development since 2015. HES is backed by a team with 20+ years of specialized EHS industry expertise and is AICPA SOC 2 Type 1 compliant as of 2026. Based in Madison, Connecticut.

What does EHS stand for, and is it different from HSE or QHSE?

EHS stands for Environmental, Health, and Safety. Some organizations use the acronym HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) or QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment). The terms describe the same discipline — managing workplace safety, environmental compliance, and occupational health. The EHS‑Dashboard™ supports all of these disciplines within a single platform.

What size organization is the EHS-Dashboard™ best suited for?

The EHS-Dashboard™ has been built to scale from single-site small and mid-sized businesses to large multi-site enterprises. The software’s fully-integrated design gives you all the capabilities your program needs, and you can easily increase site count without re-platforming as you expand to additional sites.

Which industries does Higher Elevation Software serve?

The platform serves organizations across a wide range of high-responsibility sectors, including:

  • Construction

  • Oil & Gas and Energy

  • Life Sciences and BioPharma and

  • Aviation and Aerospace

  • Manufacturing

If your industry requires rigorous safety, environmental, or regulatory oversight, the EHS-Dashboard™ is built for you.

Pricing & Plans

ELV-1200x800_Site_images (2) (1)
How is the EHS-Dashboard™ priced?

Pricing is based on the number of sites, not the number of users. Every plan starts with a $20,000 base annual platform fee covering up to 2 sites, with additional sites priced on a declining per-site rate as you scale. Every plan includes full platform functionality. There's no feature gating between tiers. Visit our pricing page for details or schedule a call with our team to get a quote tailored to your organization’s needs.

Is there a free trial available?

Yes. Your team can explore everything the EHS-Dashboard™ offers at no charge for 21 days. No credit card is required to get started and there’s no commitment. Request your free trial today.

Are there hidden fees for implementation, training, or support?

No. Our goal is transparent, straightforward pricing. Implementation guidance, onboarding support, and access to our knowledge base are all included with your subscription. There are no surprise fees for standard setup or ongoing customer support.

Is a long-term contract required?

We offer one-year or multi-year contract terms, with subscriptions priced by site starting at $20,000 annually. Site counts can be adjusted annually as organizational needs change. Contact our team to discuss the plan structure best suited to your organization.

Implementation & Onboarding

How long does implementation typically take?

Most organizations are fully operational on the EHS-Dashboard™ in under 3 months, including full input of critical data currently housed in other systems. This is significantly faster than the 6–18 month timelines common with larger enterprise EHS platforms. Our team supports you through every step, from initial configuration to staff training.

Do we need our IT department to get started?

No. The EHS-Dashboard™ is a fully cloud-based SaaS platform, so there's nothing to install and no on-premise infrastructure to manage. Most organizations do run an IT security review during procurement, and our team supports that process with documentation and standard questionnaire responses. After that, IT involvement is minimal unless your implementation includes data migration or custom integrations (API, SFTP), where we'll coordinate directly with someone on your IT team to build those connections.

Can we import data from our existing spreadsheets or EHS system?

Yes. We support data imports to bring in historical incident records, inspection data, and other EHS information from spreadsheets or prior software systems, so your team isn’t starting from scratch, and your historical compliance records remain accessible.

What training and onboarding support is provided?

We provide hands-on onboarding during implementation, including platform configuration walkthroughs and team training sessions. Ongoing self-service learning is available through our knowledge base, and our support team is available during business hours for questions that come up as your team adopts the platform.

What does the implementation process look like step by step?

After kickoff, our team works with you to:

  • Configure the platform to your specific workflows and terminology

  • Set up user roles, permissions, and notification rules

  • Import existing data where applicable

  • Train your EHS team and key stakeholders

  • Conduct a go-live review to ensure everything is working as expected

You’ll have access to our knowledge base and support team from day one throughout the entire process.

Mobile & Accessibility

Third Party Audits
Does the EHS-Dashboard™ work on mobile devices?

Yes. The platform features a fully mobile-responsive interface, allowing your team to access dashboards, complete inspection forms, report incidents, and manage corrective actions from any smartphone or tablet. The EHS‑Dashboard™ is ideal for field teams, site supervisors, and workers who aren’t desk-based.

Can we access the platform from any browser or device?

Yes. The EHS-Dashboard™ is a cloud-based platform accessible from any modern web browser on any device and no software downloads or local installations are required. Your team can log in from their desktop at the office or a tablet on the job site with equal ease.

Compliance & Regulatory

Which regulatory frameworks does the EHS-Dashboard™ support?

The EHS-Dashboard™ is designed to help organizations maintain compliance with key U.S. regulatory frameworks, including OSHA and EPA standards, as well as industry-specific requirements across Construction, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, and other regulated sectors.

Can the platform help us prepare for OSHA or EPA audits?

Yes. Every action within the EHS-Dashboard™ is logged and fully exportable, giving you a complete, audit-ready record of all inspections, incidents, corrective actions, training completions, and compliance activities. Whether an audit is planned or unexpected, your documentation is always current and accessible.

Does the system maintain a complete audit trail?

Yes. The EHS-Dashboard™ maintains a full history of all platform activity — including who created and modified records, when changes were made, and what actions were taken. This level of traceability is essential for regulatory compliance and provides important legal protection in the event of an incident investigation.

Does the EHS-Dashboard™ support multi-site compliance management?

Yes. Organizations with multiple facilities can manage compliance data across all sites within a single platform, with both consolidated enterprise-level reporting and site-level visibility, ensuring consistency in safety standards and compliance practices across the organization. For sites that roll up to a parent or corporate office through a separate enterprise software system, the EHS‑Dashboard™ can integrate with those systems to pass site-level compliance data up to corporate headquarters.

How does the platform handle regulatory updates and changing requirements?

As a cloud-based SaaS platform, the EHS-Dashboard™ is updated continuously, so your team always has the latest platform capabilities without manual upgrades. For regulatory content, the platform includes a foundational set of OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements, reviewed and updated annually. Most customers pair this with their own requirements matrix, giving your team full control over exactly which regulations, standards, and internal policies you track against, rather than a generic rule set that may not fit your operations. Our support team works directly with you to configure and maintain that matrix as regulations evolve.

Security & Data Protection

Secure EHS-Dashboard
Is the EHS-Dashboard™ SOC 2 compliant?

What security measures protect our data?

The EHS-Dashboard™ is protected by multiple layers of security controls, including:

  • End-to-end encryption for all data in transit and at rest

  • Role-based access controls that restrict data to authorized users only

  • Regular independent security audits and vulnerability assessments

  • SOC 2 certification confirming these controls have been externally verified

For detailed technical information, visit trust.higherelevationsoftware.com or consult our Security Information documentation.

Is data encrypted in transit and at rest?

Yes. All data transmitted to and from the EHS-Dashboard™ is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols. Data stored on our servers is also encrypted at rest, ensuring your organization’s EHS records, incident data, and compliance information are protected at every point in their lifecycle.

Where is our data hosted, and how is it backed up?

The EHS-Dashboard™ is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, with physical and network security managed through GCP's enterprise-grade infrastructure and reviewed annually against SOC 2 standards. Customer data is logically isolated with role-based access controls. Backups run continuously and are replicated across multiple regions for durability, encrypted at rest, and monitored daily. We test full backup restoration at least annually to verify data integrity. For more detail, visit trust.higherelevationsoftware.com or contact our team.

Does the platform support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Yes. The EHS-Dashboard™ implements a wide range of options to keep your data safe, including MFA, SSO via SAML and Entra ID (Azure ID), integration with Active Directory or identity providers such as Okta and Azure AD. Please contact our team at sales@ehsdashboard.com to discuss authentication options that meet your organization’s specific security requirements.

Is the EHS-Dashboard™ compliant with GDPR and other privacy regulations?

Higher Elevation Software is committed to responsible data handling in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, and process personal information. For specific questions about GDPR compliance or data processing agreements, please contact our team.

How does role-based access control work?

The EHS-Dashboard™ uses a robust permissions system that allows administrators to define exactly which users can view, create, edit, or approve different types of records. You control who has access to sensitive data within your organization — so frontline workers, supervisors, EHS managers, and executives each see what they need and nothing more.

What happens to our data if we cancel our subscription?
Your data is always yours. The EHS-Dashboard™ supports data export so you can retrieve your complete dataset — including all incident records, inspection histories, corrective actions, and compliance documentation. Please contact our team at support@ehsdashboard.com to discuss data portability options and the offboarding process
